• Planning and Organizing work of technical teams
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) across functional organizations
• Customer Service attitude, ITIL process certification, Technical certifications
• Unix and/or Windows systems and/or Storage Infrastructure administration experience
• IP Network, WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration (familiarity)
• Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions and is searching for candidates to provide administrative and customer support for data backup and restore services.  The full coverage of functional responsibilities required to fulfill delivery of data backup services are segmented considering delivery process boundaries and skill/experience requirements. The segments; from least to most complex, are defined as Level-1, Level-2 and Level-3 administration.
This candidate will be expected fulfill a team management and leadership role for those Associates engaged with providing Data Backup Services.  Initially, the scope of responsibility will include leading Data Compliance Associates that are working within Mexico locations.  As business growth and staffing requirements expand, the candidate will also manage teams at locations outside Mexico. 
The candidate will oversee and manage the day-to-day service delivery functions of the Data Compliance team and engage in workload planning, staffing and participate in financial management and budgeting as required by the Data Compliance Global Service Delivery Manger.
The team manager/leader will oversee work performed by the team providing services and support using the following technologies: Veritas Netbackup, Legato Networker, CA-Brightstor and other enterprise scale data backup products/solutions in use by Perot Systems Customers.
The Technical teams:
The Level-1 technician will be responsible for administering support for Client Operations to include:
Registration of client nodes, Providing the data backup Client Code to the clients System Administrator.
Managing client nodes, Implementing policies for client data.
Managing data for client nodes, Scheduling operations for client nodes, Managing scheduling operations for client nodes.
Follow notification protocol in the event the Server process needs to be brought down for maintenance or other issues.
Follow proper procedures for halting and starting the Server Process
The Level-2 technician will be responsible for functions associated with maintaining the Host/Media Server environment
Working with a network of servers, Managing server operations, Automating server operations.
Managing the database and recovery log, Managing storage and storage pools, Monitoring the data backup servers.
Shall act as the first point of contact in the event a server or client question or issue arises that Level I Administration cannot react to in a timely manner.
The Level-3 technician will be responsible for new requirements engineering and advance problem solving functions.
Will work with Systems Administrators and Customers to gather requirements and formulate service fulfillment designs that are cost effective.
Will work with Network Engineering and other disciplines to deploy new solutions and ready them for production.
 
The successful candidate will join the larger Data Compliance team responsible for enabling reliable and efficient data protection, backup and recovery services for Perot Systems’ customers.
Must have prior team leadership and management experience.
A minimum of 6 years experience working as a Systems Administrator, Storage administrator or equivalent experience and/or training is preferred.
